What We Do
We wish to keep our father’s name alive in the deeds we do to give back to our society. Our primary goal is to improve the quality of life of people at all age groups who have Arthritis so that they can also live fuller and active lives. We plan to do so by creating awareness, providing education, giving support and funding research.

Who We Are
Badri-Tirtha Arthritis Society (BTAS) is a charitable not-for-profit organization established in memory of our Late father Associate Professor Tirthananda Vaidya. Nearly 1 in 10 Nepalese suffer from Arthritis – that’s over 29 lakh individuals, in all age groups – sadly even kids can get Arthritis. Our goal is to improve the quality of life of people with Arthritis so that they can also live full and active lives. We plan to do so by creating awareness, providing education, giving support and funding research.
Badri-Tirtha Arthritis Society (BTAS) is Nepal’s first organization working with and for all people with Arthritis.
